The nobles of Kaerok have a rather strange way to reform troublesome offspring – they strip them of their family privileges and send them off to the Sacred Order. These knights are still noble and are permitted to sport their line’s coat of arms but they retain no ties to their families beyond that. They have only the Sacred Order. They have only the life of an Armiger to live.

WHY PLAY ARMIGER IN RAID: SHADOW LEGENDS?
Armiger in RAID: Shadow Legends is one of the best Champions that is easily accessible for all players. Summonable from Mystery Shards, which themselves are easy to obtain, Armiger is capable of massive damage numbers against some of Raid’s toughest Bosses, despite his Uncommon Rarity.
Read on to understand why Armiger is deserving of his reputation as one of the best Champions in RAID: Shadow Legends!
HOW TO GET ARMIGER IN RAID?
Armiger can be summoned from Mystery Shards, or purchased from the Market.
WHAT ARE ARMIGER’S SKILLS?
Armiger has just two skills since he is an Uncommon Champion but they can be particularly effective at controlling the Turn Meter of Bosses, dealing heavy damage to them with his Lay to Rest skill that scales based on Enemy Max HP, and defeating their minions for good.
- Riposte – Attacks 1 enemy. Decreases the Turn Meter by 30% if this attack is critical.
- Lay to Rest – Attacks 1 enemy. Enemies killed by this skill cannot be revived.
ARMIGER RECOMMENDATIONS
Undoubtedly the greatest Uncommon Champion in the entire game, Armiger can be built as one of the hardest-hitting Champions thanks to the power of his Lay to Rest skill. You’ll need to focus on making sure his Defense is high, along with his Critical Rate and Critical Damage in order to get the most out of it. Check out our recommendations on how to make the most of Armiger in RAID: Shadow Legends!
MASTERIES
As a damage-dealer against some of Raid’s toughest Bosses, it comes as no surprise that Armiger benefits from Masteries that increase his damage on the way to getting that Tier 6 Warmaster Mastery from the Offense Mastery Tree. Alongside the Offense Masteries, supplement Armiger with Masteries from the Support Mastery Tree to enable him to land his Turn Meter decrease as well.
GEAR
Being a Defense-type Champion, Armiger will require Gear that increases his Defense in order to get more damage from his skills. Beyond that, as a damage-dealer, Armiger will also require Critical Rate to ensure that he’s landing his Turn Meter reduction effect on his first skill, Riposte.
We recommend equipping Armiger with Defense, Savage, or Critical Damage Artifacts to help buff his damage as much as possible. You should also make sure to keep his Accuracy and Speed high for maximum impact.
BLESSINGS
Armiger cannot benefit from Blessings. They are only available to Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythical Champions since they are dependent on Awakening.
ARMIGER TACTICS
Though his skills give the appearance of simplicity, Armiger is one of the most effective Champions in the entire game for three reasons:
- His second skill, Lay to Rest, bases its damage off the enemy’s MAX HP, meaning he can hit very hard against Bosses and targets with high HP.
- Lay to Rest also blocks any revive attempts if an enemy is killed by this skill. Bosses such as Sorath the Frost Spider and Klyssus the Ice Golem suddenly become a lot easier when they can’t revive their minions if Armiger wipes them out.
- He can also fare well against Bosses whose Turn Meter can be reduced thanks to his first skill, Riposte, being able to decrease an enemy’s Turn Meter by 30% upon landing a critical hit.
He isn’t useful in Arena battles but comes into his own against Bosses, particularly the Spider, Fire Knight, Sand Devil, Phantom Shogun, and Dark Fae. He is also dangerous against the Scarab King if he’s in a Destroy Artifact Set and has a Bloodshield Ring.
DUNGEONS
Armiger is a good choice in pretty much every dungeon in the early-to-mid game. The only one where he really struggles is the Magic Keep due to his weaker Spirit Affinity.
If he is built with high SPD, he can prevent Bosses like the Fire Knight or Skavag from taking a turn. Some bosses like the Iron Twins, Hellrazor, and Al-Naemeh the Sand Devil are immune to Turn Meter reductions so Armiger’s Riposte skill loses its effectiveness, but his Lay to Rest skill is still capable of doing immense damage.
We’d recommend using him against Bosses where he can benefit from both Turn Meter reduction and his Lay to Rest skill in the endgame.
DOOM TOWER
Armiger is not particularly good at fighting off the waves of enemies in the Doom Tower but he’s
still useful against specific Bosses.
As we mentioned earlier, he can be a true force against the Scarab King if he is built right. He is also one of the best Champions to have when you challenge Astranyx the Dark Fae. Turn meter control is your friend against the Dark Fae and Armiger can help you defeat her before she can take a single turn.
FACTION WARS
The Sacred Order has many amazing Champions for Faction Wars but Armiger still holds his own in any team. He is considered almost essential against the Crypt Keeper because he can prevent their minions from reviving, control Turn Meter, and deal heavy damage with his Lay to Rest skill.
