WHY PLAY XENA: WARRIOR PRINCESS IN RAID: SHADOW LEGENDS?

Renowned for her mastery over weapons and tactical brilliance, Xena: Warrior Princess is capable of dishing out serious damage with all three of her skills in RAID: Shadow Legends.

Her skillset is largely focused on punishing enemies for having multiple buffs or debuffs active at the same time. All of Xena: Warrior Princess’ active skills will ignore a portion of their target’s Defense depending on the number of buffs or debuffs, and her passive skill will increase her Attack by up to 100% in a single Round of battle.

HOW TO GET XENA: WARRIOR PRINCESS IN RAID: SHADOW LEGENDS?

Xena: Warrior Princess was available for a limited time via the Elite Champion Pass, and was also summonable from Ancient or Sacred Shards on select days between November 2023 and January 2024. Xena: Warrior Princess is now no longer available to be summoned from Shards, or earned via the Champion Pass.

WHAT ARE XENA: WARRIOR PRINCESS’ SKILLS?

Xena: Warrior Princess will use all the weapons at her disposal to cut through her enemies’ defenses in the pursuit of justice. With her sword, chakram, and whip, this mighty Champion can ignore her target’s Defense, ignore Shield buffs, steal Turn Meter, increase her own Attack, and change her weak hits to either normal, strong, or critical hits. • Sword of Redemption – Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Will ignore 3% of the target’s DEF for each buff on the target. Will also ignore Shield buffs if the target is under 2 or more buffs or debuffs.
• Chakram Cyclone – Attacks all enemies. Will ignore 5% of the target’s DEF for each buff on the target. Steals 20% of the Turn Meter from each enemy. This effect cannot be resisted if the target is under 2 or more buffs or debuffs.
• Whip of Destiny – Attacks all enemies. Will ignore 10% of the target’s DEF for each buff on the target. Resets the cooldown of this skill if it kills 2 or more enemies.
• For The Greater Good! [P] – [Passive Effect] Increases this Champion’s ATK by 10% every time they use an active skill (stacks up to 100%). Resets each Round. Also has a 50% chance of randomly changing this Champion’s weak hits to normal, strong, or critical hits. The chance increases to 100% when attacking enemies under 2 or more buffs or debuffs. [Active Effect] Fills this Champion’s Turn Meter by 100% and places a 50% Increase ATK buff on this Champion for 1 turn whenever 8 or more buffs are placed on the enemy team in a single turn.

Xena: Warrior Princess also has an Aura that increases Ally ATK in Arena battles by 33%.

XENA: WARRIOR PRINCESS RECOMMENDATIONS

Given her potential for massive damage in RAID: Shadow Legends, Xena: Warrior Princess is best used as a damage-dealer capable of wiping out an entire team in one fell swoop. MASTERIES

As a damage-dealer who can wipe out an entire enemy team, the obvious choices for Xena: Warrior Princess’ Masteries will be the ones that focus on increasing her damage output. Work towards the Tier 6 Offense Mastery Helmsmasher, as the ability to ignore 25% of a target’s Defense will stack alongside Xena: Warrior Princess’ skills that already ignore a portion of her target’s Defense. Support the Offense Mastery Tree with several selections from the Defense Mastery Tree to help with survivability, and also to ensure that Xena: Warrior Princess has a chance to counterattack when losing more than 25% of her MAX HP from a single attack.

GEAR

Gearing Xena: Warrior Princess with the best Artifacts and Accessories makes her a real damage-dealing powerhouse. Artifact Sets such as Cruel, Savage, and Lethal will allow her to dish out even more damage and ignore even more of her enemies’ defenses. In terms of focusing specific stats, Xena: Warrior Princess will benefit most from extra Attack, Critical Rate, Critical Damage, and Speed. Hit hard, and fast!

BLESSINGS

In order to maximize her efficiency as a damage-dealer, Xena: Warrior Princess needs a Blessing to improve her damage or help her secure kills. Fortunately, there are two Blessings that do exactly that: Lightning Cage and Soul Reap. Lightning Cage can increase a Champion’s damage while also protecting their buffs, and the Soul Reap Blessing welcomes a reaper onto the field to finish off enemies whose HP reaches a certain threshold. Xena: Warrior Princess can benefit from both of these, either protecting her Increase ATK buffs before dealing additional damage, or finishing off those enemies who thought they’d managed to cling on to life.

XENA: WARRIOR PRINCESS TACTICS

With her Ignore Defense effect scaling in accordance with enemy buffs and debuffs, Xena: Warrior Princess really finds her footing in the Arena against buff-heavy teams. Outside of the Arena, however, she can also find great usage in wave-based content in RAID: Shadow Legends, such as the Doom Tower or Faction Wars. Her area-of-effect third skill, Whip of Destiny, can tear through an entire team if your Support Champions have paved the way by placing plenty of debuffs, including Decrease Defense and Weaken.

DUNGEONS

Thanks to her passive skill, For the Greater Good!, Xena: Warrior Princess is a valuable asset for taking on some Dungeon Bosses. With it, she can increase her own Attack by 10% whenever she uses an active skill – in longer fights, this is a great damage boost. Xena: Warrior Princess also boasts two area-of-effect active skills that hit all enemies, so she’s also a viable choice for taking on the Spider’s Den, especially in Hard Mode when killing Tainted Spiderlings deals damage to Tainted Skavag.

DOOM TOWER

Xena: Warrior Princess is a great choice for a primary damage-dealer in teams optimized for taking on the Doom Tower. Coupled with Support Champions that can place debuffs, Xena: Warrior Princess is capable of taking out waves of enemies very quickly. Her third skill, Whip of Destiny, attacks all enemies, ignoring 10% of each target’s Defense for each buff or debuff on them. What makes this skill even better is that it resets its cooldown if it kills two or more enemies, so you can keep taking out waves of enemies if the right debuffs are there and Xena: Warrior Princess’ Attack, Critical Rate, and Critical Damage is high enough.

FACTION WARS

Within the Barbarians Faction, Xena: Warrior Princess stands out as a great damage-dealer. Coupled with the ability to steal Turn Meter from her enemies, she’s a great addition to any Barbarian team looking to clear waves quickly. Her passive skill also increases damage when attacking with active skills in a single round, so Xena: Warrior Princess is ready to take down those Faction Crypt Keepers.
